The medium-voltage range covers dry-type, oil-filled and wound-type current and voltage transformers for both indoor and outdoor duty. Indoor installations typically use maintenance-free cast current and voltage transformers; outdoor units are built with cycloaliphatic epoxy resin for better resistance to thermal and mechanical shock. Where a site sees humid or extreme conditions, oil-impregnated-paper (OIP) insulated transformers are also available.
